Acrylic on canvas. Bold, meditative strokes build a field of deep, breath-held color. Layered pigments create a tactile landscape where light lingers and retreats. Across this surface, precise dotting in pink and black punctuates the composition — a steady rhythm of marks that both contrast and connect. The pink dots offer moments of warmth and pulse; the black dots ground the piece, adding depth and quiet structure.

This work is titled IN which means human — to dwell in quiet presence, and to recognize the interplay of fragility and strength of being human. Each dot is deliberate: a punctuation of thought, a heartbeat translated into paint.

Twenty percent of the proceeds from this piece, and from each of my works, is donated to nonprofits supporting Indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest. This commitment reflects a belief that art can be a means of solidarity and tangible support for those working to protect land, culture, and livelihoods.

Materials: acrylic paint, dotting technique with acrylic mediums on canvas. Dimensions: 24X24
