Welcome to Passion 4 Health & Wellness by Veronica Gutierrez. By booking and participating in any of our services, ceremonies, or training programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Services Offered

Veronica Gutierrez offers holistic healing services including but not limited to:

• Kambo ceremonies and treatments

• Hapé ceremonies

• Reiki energy healing sessions

• Combination healing sessions

• Health and wellness coaching

• Yoga and meditation instruction

• Training programs and certifications

• Spiritual mentorship and guidance

Health & Safety Disclaimers

Not Medical Treatment

All services provided are complementary healing practices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. These services do not replace conventional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

Medical Consultation Required

You are strongly advised to consult with your physician or healthcare provider before participating in any ceremonies or treatments, especially if you:

• Have any medical conditions

• Are taking medications

• Are pregnant or nursing

• Have mental health concerns

• Have a history of serious illness

Kambo-Specific Contraindications

Kambo treatments are not suitable for individuals with:

• Serious heart conditions (excluding controlled high blood pressure)

• History of stroke or brain hemorrhage

• Aneurysms or blood clots

• Addison's disease

• Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

• Severe epilepsy

• Recent major surgery (within 6-8 weeks)

• Pregnancy or nursing (babies under 6 months)

• Age under 18

• Current chemotherapy or radiation treatment

• Immune-suppressant medications for organ transplant

• Certain psychiatric medications and conditions

A complete health screening is required before any Kambo treatment.

Booking & Payment Policies

Booking Confirmation

All appointments and program registrations require advance booking and payment to secure your space. Booking confirmation will be sent via email.

Payment Terms

• Single sessions: Full payment due at time of booking

• Training programs: Deposit required to secure spot, balance due before program start

• Payment accepted via credit card, Venmo, or Zelle

• All prices are subject to change without notice

Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

• Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in shortened session time

• No-shows will be charged the full session fee

• Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Single Sessions

• 48+ hours notice: Full refund or reschedule

• 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund or reschedule option

• Less than 24 hours: No refund, reschedule at practitioner discretion

• Emergency situations considered individually

Training Programs & Retreats

• 30+ days before: Full refund minus $100 processing fee

• 14-30 days before: 50% refund

• Less than 14 days: No refund, credit toward future program

• Medical emergencies with documentation considered for exceptions

Force Majeure

In cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control, alternative arrangements or credits will be provided.

Health & Safety Protocols

Pre-Session Requirements

• Complete health intake form honestly and thoroughly

• Disclose all medications, supplements, and health conditions

• Follow all preparation instructions provided

• Arrive in appropriate physical and mental condition for treatment

During Sessions

• Follow all practitioner guidance and safety instructions

• Communicate any discomfort or concerns immediately

• Remain on premises for recommended observation period post-treatment

• Do not drive for specified time periods after certain treatments

Post-Session Care

• Follow all aftercare instructions provided

• Contact practitioner with any concerning symptoms

• Avoid alcohol, drugs, and strenuous activity as advised

• Stay hydrated and rest as recommended

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Voluntary Participation

You acknowledge that participation in all services is voluntary and that you assume all risks associated with these practices, including but not limited to:

• Physical discomfort or temporary side effects

• Emotional or psychological responses

• Spiritual or energetic experiences

• Unforeseen reactions to treatments

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Veronica Gutierrez, her business entities, and any associated practitioners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from your participation in services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veronica Gutierrez and associated parties from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation in services or any misrepresentation of your health status.

Professional Boundaries & Ethics

Therapeutic Relationship

• Services are provided within appropriate professional boundaries

• Physical contact is limited to therapeutic touch as appropriate for treatments

• Sexual contact or romantic relationships are strictly prohibited

• Confidentiality is maintained except where legally required to report

Practitioner Scope

• Veronica operates within her training and certification scope

• Services are complementary to, not replacement for, licensed medical or mental health care

• Referrals to appropriate professionals provided when needed

Privacy & Confidentiality

Protected Information

All personal health information, session details, and communications are kept strictly confidential except:

• When written consent is provided

• When legally required to report (abuse, harm to self/others)

• For consultation with other practitioners (with anonymity maintained)

Photography & Testimonials

• Photos or videos may be taken for documentation with consent

• Testimonials or case studies require written permission

• You may revoke consent for use of your image or story at any time

Intellectual Property

Training Materials

• All training materials, manuals, and curriculum are proprietary

• Students may use materials for personal practice and teaching if certified

• Reproduction or distribution without permission is prohibited

• Certification does not transfer ownership of intellectual property

Sacred Practices

• Traditional practices are shared with respect for indigenous origins

• Students commit to honoring the lineage and traditions taught

• Commercial use of sacred ceremonies requires additional authorization

Code of Conduct

Respectful Behavior

All participants agree to:

• Treat all persons with respect and dignity

• Maintain appropriate boundaries with other participants

• Refrain from disruptive or inappropriate behavior

• Honor the sacred nature of the healing space

Substance Use

• Arrive sober and free from recreational drugs or alcohol

• Disclose all prescription medications and supplements

• Follow preparation guidelines including fasting requirements

• Understand that substance use may affect treatment safety and efficacy

Technology & Communications

Electronic Communications

• Email and text communications are not guaranteed secure

• Urgent matters should be communicated by phone

• Social media interactions maintain professional boundaries

• Online session platforms used with consent and privacy awareness

Website & Booking Platform

• Information provided through website is for educational purposes

• Technical issues with booking platform do not guarantee service availability

• Updates to policies will be posted on website with notification

Dispute Resolution

Good Faith Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication and good faith resolution attempts.

Mediation & Arbitration

If direct resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through:

1. Mediation with mutually agreed upon mediator

2. Binding arbitration if mediation unsuccessful

3. Proceedings conducted in Joshua Tree, CA

Limitation of Damages

In any dispute, damages are limited to the amount paid for services. Consequential, punitive, or emotional damages are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.

General Provisions

Modifications

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement remains in full effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Entire Agreement

These terms, along with any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between parties.

Emergency Procedures

Medical Emergencies

• 911 will be called for any serious medical emergency

• Emergency contacts will be notified as appropriate

• You consent to emergency medical treatment if unable to consent

• Emergency transportation costs are participant responsibility

Crisis Support

• Mental health crisis resources will be provided as needed

• Participants experiencing emotional distress will receive appropriate support

• Follow-up care referrals provided when necessary
